| The Dragstrip / Movie Since there was a threat of rain on Friday evening and the drive to Great Lakes Dragway in Union Grove WI was a bit of a haul from Chicago, the group decided to kick back in the afternoon to enjoy a movie. We couldn't stop Bill H though who drove to the dragstrip without us. Wow, that's dedication.
What better film for a bunch of car guys to see than Gone in 60 Seconds? Beautiful cars and some insane chase scenes made this a great movie. Visit the Gone in 60 Seconds movie website (read about the cars that all the actors drive in real life), and take a look at the Car Chase Movie Hall of Fame.

Go-Kart Racing We headed out to the local go-kart track on Friday evening where we had a great time during last year's rally (so good in fact, that we were asked to leave). All of us hit the track for two sessions for some great action - we could finally trade paint and pass in the corners!

A few of the guys who just couldn't get enough ran one extra session and were mixed in with actual civilians who had no idea what they were in for. The crowd in the bleachers cheered, and Deebs got some great on-camera post-race interviews. Listen to the crowd as the guys spin and cause a pileup HERE (9 sec, 52k).

It doesn't seem very realistic to expect people who were just out on a road course to take it easy when on a go-kart track. Unfortunately, the track management didn't agree with our point of view.
